I spent 5 hours sorting several booking messes out today.
Three and a half of those were spent queuing.
One was spent phoning people to re-do their consent forms and telling some that in fact they weren't even booked in. Well done to the Royal Mail.
Why did I let someone else do the bookings? Why? WHY?
Stress level about 2 hours ago:
9 on a scale of 0-10.
Stress level about now:
5 on a scale of 0-10 (mainly residual stress as I've sorted the problems out. I definitely need to take tomorrow off.)
Good news:
With my super-duper admin skills (i.e. bothering to go to the venue) I've managed to sort things out.
The young people are really positive and looking forward to it (hurrah!)
The church is really excited about the week
