After the request at the bottom of this page to explain what Street Locking is I did a bit of googling and found some interesting stuff to help explain.
Street locking looks like a mixture video 1 and video 5 on this page . It started life as sort of electric boogaloo type street hip hoppy dance. It looks a lot like breaks without the scary floorwork (which is cool as it is I'm just not brave enough for all that).
Here's a nice page which explains a few terms although to be fair I'd be completely mystified by them unless I've seen the moves in action.
If you're in Oz you might find this inneresting. And if you're into the history of these sorts of things then this article will probably do it for you.
If you're a bit closer to London and think a bit of Lockin and Poppin (or any kind of dance- this place does it all) may be just your sort of thing then Pineapple is where I go for classes.
