We are such children of our generation. I frequently find myself in the middle of a conversation (as I did in the pub last night) that goes a little along the lines of "do you remember Captain Planet..."he's our hero, gonna take pollution down to zero..." then "yeah! and the Turtles!" "yeah! and Willy Fogg! and Dogtanian! and the Care Bears!". Happens all the time- those fond reminiscences of the good old cartoons back in the halcyon days of shoulder pads, Mrs Mangle and Ghostbusters the Movie. With this in mind let's allow ourselves a Double Dose of 80's cartoonoralia...
