Hmmm. Some people complain about winter flab. I have more of a problem with summer flab. I think this is partly to do with cooking at mission for 11 days and partly related to the boredom factor of working in a pharmacy in January (the quietest time of the year). It was a big thing when I realised that I wasn't actually hungry all the time. My boredom was simply manifesting as hunger.
So. Since 5pm today I have eaten:
1. A bee sting. This is an incredibly tasty cakey thing from the patisserie down the road which is sort of flat with two levels of cakey stuff, a layer of custard in between and a glaze and almonds on top. SO GOOD. This was to see me through the last 90 minutes of work.
2. Nacho meat with rice and sour cream (low fat!) and avocado and corn chips. Surely the good fats in avocado sort of make up for the bad fats in corn chips... surely...
3. A bowl of ice cream with one scoop of rum and raisin and one of butterscotch.
4. A rum ball.
Now I am thinking about the chocolates sitting on my floor and am glad the laptop prevents me from getting up to get them.
