Apologies to those who may be receiving hourly emails with how long I have left to work at the nuthouse. I'm just so excited!

Today I spent hmmmmm all day teaching one boss how to enter stock into the computer, the other boss how to find the little tabs to switch between worksheets on excel documents (maximise the worksheet - note, you cannot do this if you have locked the worksheet) and the shop assistant how to use a mouse. As a friend pointed out to me this evening, it's meant to be them teaching me stuff. Have I learnt anything from them since they arrived? Um. No.

However the new sushi shop two doors up is a source of great joy for me and will hopefully help me to survive the remaining four weeks of toil. Who would guess that a spicy tuna nori roll (with avocado in it) could be so tasty. At the moment I have no desire to try any other flavours because that one is SO good.

This weekend will be spent on physics. I have bought a new textbook which will help me greatly with my bathroom decor. It's American and has amusing Americanisms like "Consider a 1kg grapefruit and a 3kg pumpkin". I like to stop at that point and consider said fruits and vegetables. A 1kg grapefruit is quite large however a 3kg pumpkin would be pretty small. Both are tasty if prepared properly. At the moment I only like grapefruit cut in half, with copious amounts of brown sugar sprinkled on it (or dumped... sprinkle is too delicate a word) and put under the griller til the sugar starts to caramelise or melt or dissolve in the juice... whatever. I think a 1kg grapefruit would be a bit much to eat in one sitting however. If I had 3kg of pumpkin I would make it into soup and freeze it in yayfriendly (ie. large) portions for lunches and the like.
