Sadly my storm experience was much less satisfying than that of deelea (see comments in post below). However I still had the joy of waking up this morning, hearing the wind and rain outside, rolling over, and going back to sleep.
Driving lesson was successful. There were no major windscreen wiper incidents. Hurrah. And we did some reverse parking and learnt how to turn on the fan to stop the windscreen fogging up.
Pumpkin and leek soup for lunch today. It has been waiting in the freezer for a day like this. And perhaps some baking in the afternoon? Something sweet methinks.
