I have a job!
It sort of fell in my lap. Someone called and asked if I'd like to work at a nice pharmacy. I said yes, called the contact guy, he said that 7 people had already applied and to send my resume. Then he called last week and said come in and have a chat. Then he said come on Friday and see how it goes. So I did. And now I have a job!
It is a good job for me for the following reasons:
1. Three days/week - two weekends!!
2. Three long days - full time pay
3. Good pay rates
4. In the Inner West of Sydney - close to where my old job was. I like this area.
5. But quicker to get to than previous job.
6. The shop assistants know stuff and are pleasant!
7. There are things to learn. Like methadone dispensing and a new computer system.
They were pleased that I already had a pharmacist badge because I apparently look very young. Ah well. Will have to get me a white coat...
