This afternoon I shut the safe door on my finger. I didn't slam it or anything but it's a fairly substantial door you know! And now I have a very hurty left index finger and a purple fingernail.
Thankfully the guy who used to own the pharmacy walked in just as I finished swearing at the safe. I don't think I would have made a good impression if he'd arrived a few minutes earlier... I don't think real pharmacists are meant to shut their fingers in safe doors.
And it's really hard typing without one of your index fingers!!
