I stuck with wearing my jeans, my old sneakers and a dark blue t-shirt that comes out for beach mission and other such activities. Beach mission and gardening are fairly similar in grot levels.
However I accomplished a lot! I now have five pots (of various sizes) for my garden. Two have green things in them (strawberry and silverbeet), two have seeds (cress and brussels sprouts) and one has just potting mix in it. I will put the mustard seeds in in 4 days as directed on the cress packet. My pots all have my magic water crystals. And oh those things are so much fun!!!! You put a teaspoon of them into 750mL of water, wait an hour (or stir them a lot and wait 40 minutes if you're impatient like me) and the whole lot has turned into jelly like stuff which you then stir into your soil. Hours of fun. Surely there must be other applications for them...
