I have done a bit of tidying in my room this morning. Tidying my room always includes collecting the 38472 water bottles lying around and dumping them in the recycling bin. On my second trip to the bin, I noticed that the bottle I was holding had a floatie in it. A large floatie. Ewwwww grosssssss surely that's not a worm!!! No... it appears to be an alfalfa sprout. That has grown in my water bottle. Could an alfalfa sprout grow in my bottle? And am I going about growing mustard and cress the wrong way? Maybe I should just put a handful of seeds in a bottle of water and leave it under my desk for a while.
And how did the alfalfa seed get into the bottle in the first place? I can't remember the last time I ate such things... all very mysterious. I have put the bottle on the table for everyone to admire for the moment. I can't throw such a thing out without showing it to anyone.
