Apologies for a lack of wiblogging in recent days. I haven't had much to say.
It is a lovely day today. I have had a driving lesson and sometime soon will set off on a walk to the post office. I might catch a train to somewhere while I'm there... well not from the post office obviously, but from the station, which is across the road from the post office. Not sure where I'll go however. Don't particularly need to do any shopping. Hmmm maybe I'll just walk home again! We'll see.
Oooh I also haven't checked on my plants for a few days. Will do that too and report back if there are any significant developments.
In other news, did you know that someone posted yet another comment on the "let's criticize yay's grammar and vocabulary" entry? I am actually quite articulate but when I get excited or am in a hurry I often can't think of the word/phrase I want to use and substitute another (sometimes fabricated but still logical) which gives the reader/listener the MEANING that I am communicating. My thoughts are that as long as the meaning is clear, the communication has been successful.
That's not to say that my crusade against "got" has eased off. But I cut myself some slack if I have to use it in the heat of a moment.
