bits and pieces of information

I have just had a call from a frantic pharmacist who I've never met, begging me to work for her on Sunday. I reluctantly said yes. I am good at saying no usually but she was desperate and I had pity on her. I am not quite sure where this pharmacy is but I'm sure I'll find it...

So now I've been registered as a pharmacist for 2.5 months and will have worked in 5 different pharmacies in that time. That's quite a lot really. Being an unemployed pharmacist required extreme dedication. People just keep offering you work.

I had quite a nice day today. Another driving lesson, which was fun. My driving instructor said that I'm the only one of his students who says no (see I am good at saying no!) to his instructions. For example:
"Turn right here"
"No, I'll turn left"
"Er... why?"
"Well I don't like that street and it's really narrow and I know that you'll make me do a reverse park and I'd rather do it in this street to the left"
"oh very well... I hope you don't do this in your test"

I did see an old man coming out of the motor registry on his over 85 driving test who sadly I suspect would have failed. He stopped at the footpath like you're supposed to, did good traffic checks, indicated correctly, drove off at an appropriate speed on the correct side of the road... with his door open.

After that the brother and I went on an adventure. I had to raid a pharmacy I work at occasionally to get some hydroquinone for another pharmacy I work at occasionally. My brother raided the bakery next door to the pharmacy for some lemon tarts while I did this. We are a good team.

Then we went to another shopping centre (I selected it because it has 90 degree parking which I'm not very good at and no boomgates/parking tickets which I hate) and I did a disastrous 90 degree park with rear to curb but turned it into a lovely 90 degree park (front to curb). Bought potatoes and stuff. Then drove towards home. Then decided to practice reverse parking so selected a good street and reverse parked off every car parked on it. I'm getting better!
