It has just occurred to me that not a lot of wiblogging will be occurring this week due to general busyness. I have been at a year 12 study camp all weekend (well except for yesterday morning when I was at work) then came home and went to church. I am working tomorrow and Tuesday, then going back to study camp for Wed-Thurs then work again on Friday and Saturday morning then collapsing in a heap on Saturday afternoon.

Study camp is at a recently refurbished campsite (and by campsite I mean place where you go with large groups of youths to stay in dormitory style accomodation, not the campsites referred to in other posts where you put your tent up and do your business behind a handy tree). Before the refurbishment, this campsite was... how to put this politely?... a hole. Now it is quite pleasant! It has nice new rooms in lodge style layouts with ensuites and central lounge areas and a new gymnasium and chapel type place and all the lodges are named after australian fauna. I find it quite amusing that the girls are in the "bird" lodges and the boys are in the "beast" ones. Hehehehe. Funny on at least two levels.

Along with refurbished rooms and facilities, the menu seems to have been overhauled and the food is really quite good. Some odd combinations (I believe dinner tonight was butter chicken and potato wedges... lunch was a choice of three pastas, five pastas, a mini pizza made from leftover english muffins from breakfast and chips... chips...? where do they fit?) but overall tasty and no nasty surprises. I always remember the band camp I went on in high school (different location) where the bacon was very fresh. It still had bristles!

So yes. Summary of events is that I will not be around much this week but may try and snatch a little wibble from work or some nerd's wirelessly internetted laptop.
