In answer to Smudgie's question, my indolence is the result of living arrangements, age of parents and lack of children, employment conditions and lack of whatever it is that makes some people crave busyness... lazyness? Me? Never! :p
We bought a mattock. It was what I thought it was. I was a bit worried that there'd be rows of things that were all similar but not all classified as mattocks. As it turned out, there were four different models available and I left it up to my older brother to choose one. It is now in the boot of my car until we remove it and wrap it up. With the civil unrest issues in Sydney I am slightly concerned of what would happen in the instance that the car was randomly searched and a mattock found in the boot but the car should not be travelling to any areas with road blocks between now and Christmas so I suppose it will be ok.
