Hello gang!
Today at hospital day was scrubbing/dressing for theatre and also the first bit of a cardiovascular examination. One of the problems with our course is that the doctors who are teaching us were trained differently to us. They didn't hit the hospitals til they'd learnt stuff. We really know nothing! Or thereabouts. So when they fire questions at us... we look blank. I think we're starting to get the message across... but probably by the time they believe us, we will actually know something.
Dressing up for theatre was fun. I wasn't as clumsy as I thought I'd be. I had imagined that I'd be fumbling around contaminating myself and putting my gloves on wrong and stuff but it was fine. It was the rest of my group who had trouble!! Which was nice as one of the group was the er token male chauvinist who thrives on bignoting himself. Hah!
In other news I think we're having roast lamb for dinner tonight. One of my favourite meals.. I love mint sauce!
