I just received my new credit card in the mail (which is SURELY a security issue! But that's not what I'm talking about) and it is so much prettier than my old card. I'll have to go and buy lots of stuff to try it out...
I have a bit of an energy deficit today. I managed to sleep through the only lecture we had. Although the people sitting with me who didn't fall asleep told me that I didn't miss much. After sleeping through the lecture we went to the library and made an attempt to learn stuff. I'm actually not feeling like I'm too behind in stuff. Even biochemistry. I've decided that what I need to know and what they actually teach us are vastly different. Ponder this: our first summative assessment is not til the end of second year. Is it likely that they will examine us on the intricate details of a biochemical pathway discussed in one lecture in the second week of first year? I think not!
But yes, in yayful news I seem to be acquiring a group of friends. It's nice to have friends!
