I discussed hyperphenylalaninaemia with some peers this morning and they agreed that it is the hardest word we've had so far. Possibly also the longest. Imagine doing medicine in German! They must have some massively long words.
I am hoping for my brother to get home not too late. I need to practice using my stethoscope and he has the... most accessible ribs of the family. My older brother would also have a good chest to listen to but alas he doesn't live here. I don't quite get how we are meant to do all the rib counting and palpation and stuff on more voluptuous (female or male!) patients. Maybe they'll teach us that tomorrow.
