So dinner was a triumph. It included a prepackaged (but fresh, not frozen) thing of stir fry vegetables that my neighbour gave us. See his wife bought them but she's gone away and he doesn't eat fruit or vegetables so he brought all such foods over to us. I think I'll put in a request for those vegetables next time the neighbour goes away. Very tasty.
Hmmm I wonder what adventures I will have at hospital day tomorrow. I am doing my haematology/oncology mini elective and I think we are having a session on "preparing to move a patient" (I suppose we will be actually moving them after the holidays) and various other electives.
Hopefully I won't get in trouble tomorrow for not having practised my stethoscope skills. The brother hasn't been home for me to practise on this week unfortunately. I'm meant to have been acquainting myself with normal bowel and lung sounds. I really want to see if the auscultation triangle is the best place to auscultate.
