This morning when I arrived at the hospital and started my Wednesday morning ritual of telling my classmates what I dreamed about last night, I realised that I have had two bad dreams about my stethoscope in the last month!
In the first one, I discovered that there were bugs living under the diaphragm of the stethoscope. And I didn't know how to pull it apart to get them out. Then I worked out how to pull it apart but couldn't get it back together. And the bugs started to multiply and reappear in there. It was bad.
Then last night I dreamed that I was putting the ear pieces in my ears and somehow pulled the tubey bits off the metal bits. And no matter what configuration I put the tubey bits back on in, I couldn't get the ear pieces to both point the same way. It was terrible! I had diagrams and borrowed someone else's stethoscope to superimpose mine on top of but I just couldn't do it.
What does this mean?!
