I had a lovely time at church this morning playing with the toddler who was sitting in front of me who was at walking age but not talking age. She did an excellent job of mimicing the charos in the congregation during the songs. I laughed an awful lot. Then towards the end of the service she escaped from her parents and ran to a random congregation member (a rather reserved man with awkward social skills) and put her arms up to be picked up. He picked her up and she refused to be returned to her parents for the rest of the servce.

Then when I got home the parents told me that she was the little girl who adopted Dad at the park the other day when they were out for a walk. A very sociable child. It was the first time the family had been to our church however if they were looking for somewhere child friendly I suspect they'll be back. Although someone should have assured them that most folk do end up with the correct child when they leave... that could be cause for concern.

In other news, Crunchie ice cream has been reformulated. I can't remember what it used to be like so I can't say if it's better or worse. Just different.
