This morning I went off to do my self directed learning project on child development. I borrowed the younger child of one of the ministers at church for this project and we had a lot of fun stacking blocks, picking up raisins, picking up hundreds and thousands, jumping, going down stairs and doing other such things. It was exciting that G was able to stack 5 blocks into a tower as she is only 16 months old and stacking four blocks is a 27 month old achievement. She was also able to pick up a raisin (well actually it was a sultana) and put it in a cup - this was months ahead of schedule too. So I have told her parents that she'll need to be at a five year old level by her 4 month follow up.

Now... have to do 1.5 weeks worth of uni stuff in the rest of today and everything will be good! Working 12 hours tomorrow. There might be time for some uni stuff while I'm there but it's impossible to predict the busyness of Sundays. I will take my stethoscope anyway and hope for someone to come in with a wheeze, a rattle or miscellaneous crepitations!
