So today at work there were some interesting people coming in. Well interesting diseases with people wrapped around them. I believe that this was because all the doctors' surgeries in the area were closed today (and hence the waiting time at the hospital was many many hours). Something to do with ANZAC day being on Tuesday.... but still doesn't make sense.

But anyway, I was glad that I had my stethoscope in my bag because I was able to assure a mother that her child just had asthma not galloping pneumonia or collapsed lungs. It's exciting using my stethoscope on a real live patient. The next toy I'd like to buy is one of those things for looking in ears. That would have come in handy today. And a magic cure for refractory constipation in 2 year olds... had a bit of that happening today too.

Back to uni tomorrow. Then a day off on Tuesday. Then back to uni again on Wednesday. I could get used to a permanent holiday. Ah well, not long til retirement.
