... I have become much more proficient at jaywalking. I used to always cross at crossings. Now I don't. Well sometimes I do. But not all the time. In some ways it's more dangerous to jaywalk here than in Vietnam because although the traffic abides by the rules (largely), it is both bigger (cars not motorbikes) and faster than Vietnam. So I don't think I will ever be one of those people that you narrowly miss running over because they can't pick a good gap to step out on to the road.
