I would like it to be known that this morning I woke up an hour early! I would like it to be thought that this was so I could do a spot of wiblogging but actually I just... woke up an hour early.
But anyway, don't let that detract from the experience of a yaywiblog at an odd time of day.
This week is a tad busy due to a number of factors. Usually in a given week I work either 12 hours or no hours. So far, since Saturday I have worked 21.5 hours. Plus there's another 12 this weekend. Which is a lot really. It's because a) my mother and her co-pharmacist did a first aid course on Sunday and the co-pharmacist couldn't find anyone to work because it was mother's day and b) my lovely boss has hurt his ankle, conveniently coinciding with the week that the other pharmacist has taken off to move house.
So last night was work instead of... uni work. Didn't have too many Tuesday night nuts, which was nice. And I realised why working as a pharmacist is so much fun at the moment - as I'm only there a couple of days a month, I have no real responsibilities (except for not killing patients - so far so good) and just have to keep things running smoothly during my shift. I don't have to talk to reps, do big monthly orders, sign and date and check scripts, worry about rostering... all I have to do is what can be done then and there which is the fun stuff like talking to patients, woundcare, helping the pharmacy students with assignments, answering strange phone requests and stuff like that. It's good!
