Last night I attended my very first Med Revue. For those unfamiliar with the university revue concept, this is where various outgoing people sing and dance and act and take their clothes off in the name of entertainment and to raise money for stuff.
The Med Revue at Sydney Uni is slightly different to the other faculty revues in that it is entirely put on by first years. This is because years 3 and 4 are off campus and year 2 has a big exam coming up just after the revue season. I must say I was very impressed by the show, especially as I have only witnessed large amounts of preparation in the last few weeks and this was a bunch of people who only met each other 6 months ago. Well done team!
One part of the nudity that I found slightly disturbing was seeing a girl who I once interviewed for a job, wearing nothing but a toolbelt. If she applied for a job now, just think of all the lines I could use in the interview!
But yes, there was some great talent, many laughs and a good time was had by all. well by me anyway. And the people I was sitting with.
