Did you know that in Australia we apparently always celebrate Talk Like a Pirate Day on a Friday, whereas the rest of the world celebrates it on whatever day the 19th of September falls on? Why is this so?! It means that if we want to call up our friends in say, Sweden and say "Ahoy me hearty! Can I be borrowing your treasure chest?" it will be on the wrong day. For them. Or for us.
Clearly the answer is for everyone to speak like pirates all the time.
