My lovely obliging brother just let me look in his ears. He doesn't seem to have an ear drum on one side. However I'm hopeful that it's just obscured by a large plug of wax and one day I will be able to see it :)
Today I have been reading and writing about tobacco and also ear infections and pneumonia in indigenous children. Did you know that Australian Aboriginals display similar patterns of illness to people in developing countries? And have a lower life expectancy than people in Bangladesh?? There's something wrong there.
