So yes, I've been working the last two days. It's nice to be idle again. Although it's been a somewhat busy morning. Well. For someone on holidays. My mother went shopping and bought lots of fruit. I told her to drive a certain route and hopefully there'd be a guy beside the road selling cherries and mangoes and stuff and sure enough he was there! So when she returned with lots of tasty things, I decided to take a basket of stuff to the grandparents' place and leave it on their table. Luckily they are out today having lunch with the governor lady (10 points for whoever gets the pop culture reference in this sentence) so it will be a nice surprise for them.
ALSO on the way to the grandparents I had to stop at the shopping centre to spend the $50 confectionery voucher that my grandma won me (there's a packet of rocky road in the basket of fruit too). The mother decided to come too so she drove the car in circles while I went inside and bought the stuff. It was like being a kid in a candy store!
After that bit of mischief we came home and I have eaten coco pops and fruit and will be going out with a friend in half an hour. Which reminds me that I should wrap her Christmas present in case today is the day for exchanging such things. It seems obscenely early but it's only 2 weeks away now I come to think of it....
