Ok so I just called another branch of the shop where I looked at my exercise bike and they keep them in stock. Hurrah!! Will gather the brother later and make the trek to get it. It will be a bit of a nightmare due to being not long before Christmas and a major shopping centre but I'm sure we'll find a parking spot eventually.
Fear not Jack, this one has many adjustable bits, including the seat. I noticed that all of the ones in this price range had AC power for their computers... not sure why that is... but... er... anyway... yes.
