oh dear. Too much excitement

I've just had too much excitement in the last few weeks. I seem to have lost my brain as a result. Just in time for uni to start again tomorrow. Last night I was discussing how I once waited for a bus to Newtown. And my friend, who lives in Newtown, asked me why I didn't visit her when I caught the bus to Newtown. And I said it was because I got off before Newtown because I was actually on my way to buy a textbook at uni. Which is before Newtown. And she said "but you drove to uni the day that you bought your textbook. I read it in your blog!". Hmmm so did that make me a liar or merely confused?

Then I remembered that I'd gone to uni to get the book twice because the first time I went (on the bus), the bookshop was closed for renovations. The second time, when I did get the book, I drove. "So the time you waited for the bus to Newtown was a waste of time then?". Hmmmm well it does seem that way... but I don't remember it being a particularly distressing waste of time... oh yes... I was going into the city for another reason... to do something... with people.... J? R? Someone?? It was R and S! R happened to be listening to this conversation. Which was good because I couldn't remember what we actually did that night other than car racing games at TimeZone. Ah hah! It was the night we went to Kopitiam in Ultimo.

I should have known that because it was part of our food blog adventures. A few months ago we stumbled across Grab Your Fork, a blog dedicated to the search for tasty food. Mostly in Sydney. Anyway, whenever we need a dinner/cupcake/etc location, we refer to The Blog (as it is now known). It hasn't failed us yet. And last night, when this confused conversation was taking place, we were visiting another place reviewed on GYF - Hanabi. I think I have found my Korean food depot for Sydney. It's as good as Mums 24 in Christchurch! And good value too! And they split bills!
