A gadget that I would like, is some sort of device that will time a specified period then beep at the end of it. The interval will be easily changed. The beep would ideally be not too harsh. I want a device that will do these things without being dependent on a clock. I don't want to set an alarm for 10 minutes in the future, because that very act may take a minute and hence the alarm will go off in 9 minutes.
I think what I want is an oven timer. Without the oven. That would be a bit unwieldy. Can you buy such things? It only needs to go up to an hour. My attention span is not that long. I'd like it to be cheap as well.
Or is there a program that my computer can run? Oh! How about that then?!
