I was going to take Pooka to the beach today with her friend Ford (of the playing video on youtube... link available somewhere...) but the fine morning turned rainy so it has been postponed til Monday.
So today I will complete some more jobs on the to-do list. One of them is making a GP appointment. The problem with this is that when I am being a patient, I find GP receptionists terrifying. When I'm being a student they're fine, but patients are the enemy because they wish to see the doctors and take up appointments and stuff. It always takes me a few days to psych myself up for making the call. Good thing I'm not sick... I just need a prescription for the fluvax I had on Saturday so that the guv'ment will pay for it. Hopefully my GP won't mind that I've already had the vaccine and it was given by a second year nursing student! Hmm she might be third year now..
