Greetings from... hmmm I'm not sure what the general area I'm in is called. How about "the country". I'd have to think a bit harder to be more specific... New England? Northern Tablelands? Dunno.

It's really hot and dry and everyone is huddling in their airconditioned location of choice. If I tried to get to my car without shoes on I'd probably have no soles left on my feet. Although I was thinking that perhaps we could use the carpark as a firewalking pit and have medical student firewalking challenges. Sadly I would be the only student representing my uni and I don't think my concentration span is long enough for me to do very well.

The medical side of things is great - I've learned loads, the hospital staff are all very friendly and most of the patients are too. I have been in intensive care for the last week and will be doing emergency from Monday. Should be good.

I'm still not a fan of making all my own meals. We all know that I can cook. I just don't like doing it all the time for just me.
