1. Paracetamol
2. Pseudoephedrine
3. Solugel/Solosite
4. Fexofenadine
5. Hydrocortisone cream
6. Difflam Forte throat spray
7. Benefibre
8. Topical antifungals - choice depends on convenience, cost, location of the fungus...
9. Aerosol saline sprays for nasal irrigation. Far superior to a pump spray.
These are not my favourites because I use them all the time - I occasionally use numbers 1, 4 and 5. But they are generally effective products, most are low on side effects if used as directed (pseudoephedrine can be a bit rough) and I am confident in knowing when they would likely be helpful for the person concerned.
Maybe I should open a pharmacy one day that attempts to find its niche in the pharmacy world by only stocking my favourite products. It'd be doubly awesome because I wouldn't have any make-up or jewellery or assistants who have been there 20 years and hence outrank me but they really don't outrank me because I'm in charge.
