My house up north had a water-saving shower head. I didn't realise how much better the non-water-saving ones are until I got back and stood under its gentle... erm... something.
The water-saving ones are sort of violence, because they have to force the water through tiny holes at higher speed to give the (bad) impression of a proper shower head.
We make up for our ecological sin by not watering the lawn or plants. Or washing the cars...
