Well, it ended up being almost 2 weeks away. Went to a place with a funny name for a few days of eating, drinking reading and sleeping. First person to write a comment gets a postcard from said place.
No major disasters in the kitchen. Lots of flies though. Oh so many!
So yes. Nice to be home again in my nice familiar bed, with no flies, and people to cook for me.
