Ended up going East yesterday. Although not very far. Across the road from as far East as was possible. Went to a friend's place for a bbq. As often ends up happening, we watched tv for a while before dinner. There was this World Vision promo show on about Tanzania. It was extremely moving and I am now thinking about sponsoring a child. I've been umming and ahhing for a while actually but now that I have a full time job it's something that I should be able to commit to. And if I can't commit $1/day (or thereabouts) there is something seriously wrong with me (considering my income compared to my expenses).
Any thoughts or suggestions/warnings about agencies are very welcome...
