so anyway

This week has been a bit of a nightmare in the public transport arena. I am fortunately not too disgruntled about this because... er... I don't know... but anyway, I was positively gruntled to hear that I will be getting a free weekly ticket next week as an apology from the state government. This is a good thing. Apparently I'm meant to say "But a measley ticket won't make up for the X hours I spent waiting for trains and being stuck between stations!!"... but on my rate of pay and level of inconvenience experienced (low, due to my work hours), a weekly ticket will more than make up for it!

Have just received my first assignment for the graduate training course I have to do. Oh dear. It's 34 pages long and I have absolutely no idea where to find the information to answer the questions, especially as I no longer have access to the uni computer network.

Every morning I walk through the Devonshire St tunnel at Central Station. This is a long tunnel which goes underneath the 23 above-ground platforms (and I assume above the 2 underground platforms but I am yet to verify this statement). There are usually at least 3-4 buskers or other people doing stuff for money along its length. I have decided to feature a perfomer in my wiblog every now and then... or every day if I don't have much to say.

So today's performers are the two guys who both play guitar and sing Tracy Chapman songs. Well maybe they only sing one Tracy Chapman song... I've only heard them do one... but anyway, they aren't too bad. Some of their harmonies are definitely interesting, but not unpleasant. Verdict is that I quite enjoy that section of the tunnel when it's Tracy Day
