So the parents have been away since Saturday afternoon. We have managed to cook one meal since then. Last night was pizza. Tonight was bbq chicken (and the greatest potato salad ever). Oh and the ice cream man comes on Monday nights sometimes. Which is exciting. It's not ice cream in a cone - he sells boxes and tubs of the stuff. We didn't have much room in the freezer tonight (I accidentally thought we'd run out of ice cream on Saturday but turns out we hadn't... oh and there's the steak and chicken that we were meant to cook but didn't) so we got a box of 6 strawberry sundae things. Which were very nice. There are two left however they fit in the freezer just fine. That's good. Wouldn't it be a catastrophe if they didn't. Then I'd have to eat another one!
We have to buy something every time the ice cream man comes because he only comes to our street for us. And if we don't buy anything he might stop coming! That would be a tragedy!
