Have just had a brief conversation on msn with the bride who I will be maiding for in... argh 2 months. Anyway, it sounds like dresses have been found that are within the price range (ie. as little as possible). I was a tad concerned about the strapless bit of the deal however. I will let it be known that the most dressed up I ever get is black trousers and a "nice" shirt/blouse/whatever you want to call it. I don't do dresses. And strapless dresses are... er... worse. However sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do for friends. There are some friends who I would wear a strapless dress for and some I wouldn't. This one I would.
Was discussing weddings with my mother last night. She said she won't mind if I elope. So that's good. Weddings are a lot of trouble. But I assured her that elopement or not, it won't be happening in the forseeable future anyway. Apparently by inviting my grandparents to my graduation I have fulfilled my granddaughterly obligations to them for major ceremonies.
