Church this morning was absolutely packed. I suppose that comes from having one Good Friday service for four congregations but still. Good Friday services have traditionally been much smaller than Easter Sunday services but the last couple of years they've been huge. We turned up at 9:25 (for a 9:30 service) and there were almost no seats left inside. As my church has a culture of lateness, this meant that there were quite a few people sitting in the corridor (we have sliding glass doors that open into the side corridor) by the 10 minutes into the service.
Was good though. I love services when all our congregations come together. Very cool.
