Tonight I came home from church in a good mood. That does not happen very often. It would be nice to think that the culture of my church has changed in the last 3 weeks (we haven't had a 7pm service for a while) but I suspect it was more a coincidence. However it is nice to come home from church happy and encouraged rather than upset and drained.
So it doesn't matter that I had my ice cream before church tonight as I didn't need it afterwards. Which is a good thing because I really don't think I could eat copious amounts of ice cream right now. I'm a bit full.
Now tomorrow is the day of change. My new bosses start. I haven't met them yet and am somewhat apprehensive. Surely they can't be ogres! Surely! Wish me luck.
