Tomorrow is wedding preparation day. For those who don't remember obscure references to stuff from months ago, one of my closest friends is getting married on June 5 and I will be a bridesmaid. This is not a role I relish however sometimes we have to do things we don't particularly want to do for good friends. But I digress! Tomorrow starts with an early morning shopping trip to buy shoes. I hate buying shoes. I have recruited a friend who likes buying shoes to assist me but I am dreading it somewhat. This expedition starts at 8:30. At 3pm is hair rehearsal. And at 6pm is the hens night. Which apparently is a low key affair. Good.
So yes, the issues are that a) my only pairs of shoes are sneakers, school shoes (I find them very comfortable for work!) and black suede things that I have dubbed the most uncomfortable shoes in the world. I have to buy black strappy shoes. Argh! b) My hair is always the same. I don't tie it back, I am very unadventurous with hair cuts. I would be quite happy to be bald. There will be much fussing over my hair being done simply because it's never been done before. I hate fuss. c) I have to cook a main or dessert for 5-6 people for the hens night! Problem!! I wonder if I can order a pizza??
