I have taken up yoghurt

It dawned on me last week that my entire calcium intake came from ice cream and small amounts of parmesan cheese. Did you know that once you hit 30, it's all downhill as far as bone mass density is concerned? I have only 7.5 years to get my bones to maximum density before I begin the decline.

This created problems because I don't like milk. Well, let me clarify. I hate low fat, unflavoured milk. Milk that falls into either (or both) of those categories fails. So instead I have taken up eating low fat yoghurt. I ignore the ingredients list - as far as I am concerned, it is naturally thick and creamy. Yes. I also avoid artificially sweetened yoghurt. I'm not scared of sugar dammit! On this journey of discovery, I also realised that I don't really like yoghurt with chunks of fruit in it. So my new favourite flavour is caramel cheesecake. It's a subtle flavour actually - not like one of those "dairy based desserts". Still undeniably yogurt. But ever so tasty.

This doesn't mean that I'm giving up ice cream however. Merely that I am supplementing it.
