I just reread what I wrote yesterday about it all being downhill after the winter solstice. I did ponder what term to use at the time of writing and realise now that both uphill and downhill are wrong, despite being opposites of each other. Uphill means that it's hard work from now on. Downhill means that things will keep getting worse. When really, the sun will start rising earlier and that is a good thing because no-one likes waking up in the dark. Well if they do they are a silly git. And I mean that in the nicest possible way.
