So many times today I gazed hopefully at the calendar, thinking that somehow it would be Friday. But sadly no. The 20th of July, 2004 has been designated a Tuesday. I hate Tuesdays. After work I had to go to a thing at the church. Which I was apparently involved in the organisation and implementation of. However being somewhat out of the loop I found myself standing around watching other people doing stuff and generally getting in the way. Ah well. I was serving others by letting them serve.
Oh yes! Last week I went for my first ever dedicated exercise session. It involved walking to the park, walking through the bush to the oval, running around the oval, then walking home. It was mainly walking because of the unfitness mentioned earlier but also because running through the bush would probably result in severe injuries. Co-ordination is not one of my strong points.
Anyway, now I'm thinking about having my second ever exercise session tomorrow morning. This will depend on how well I sleep tonight, what time I wake tomorrow, whether it's raining in the morning and how cold it is. I don't like my chances. But we'll see.
