Tonight it was time for my mother's offering in the olympic spirit quest. She decided on a weightlifting theme. The stage was a cake covered in blue icing. There were two weightlifters, constructed from marshmallows, pineapple lollies, strawberries and cream lollies and chupa chups (for the dumbells), an audience (jelly babies), the chalk container (malt powder) and liquorice for lines on the floor.
It was very good. Photos and video footage are available :D
