I am home alone for the first time in... months? It's been ages. My parents are away until Tuesday and my brother is watching hockey. I should be watching hockey but was asleep when he left. Ah well. I have just discovered that the light in the dining room has blown. Which means I can't read the paper. You can't read the paper without a table. *wonders how many people will pour shame on me for not changing the bulb but then decides there is not enough information to condemn me. Do we have any bulbs? Is the light enclosed in a YayProof lightshade? Do I in fact have arms? It is difficult to change a lightbulb if you have no arms*
So instead of reading the paper after my sleep I was going to watch tv. But my father has programmed the video. This is normally not a problem but our tv situation has become extremely complicated since the arrival of a digital set top box a few weeks ago. There are now four remote controls all with channel changing buttons on them. I have absolutely no idea which one to use while the vcr is programmed.
Which brings me to wiblogging and eating black cats. Mmmmmmmm. You have to be careful not to choke on the fur though. I rediscovered black cats a few days ago. They brought back memories of kindergarten. My kindgergarten teacher used to keep a big jar of them for rewards. Which, in retrospect, is a bit odd as 5 year olds can't generally be relied upon to like aniseed. But we never seemed to notice.
