pad thai and yaytour

A very peaceful day today. My parents create a lot of noise. That could be because they do stuff around the house and I am not quite so active. So I suppose I can't really complain. But anyway, it's very quiet when they're away. But not eery. I do have an eery story from this weekend though. Last night I went to the supermarket to buy yoghurt, lollies, sour cream and those biscuits that you bake yourself... well anyway, it was about 10pm (the shop closes at midnight) and when we walked in something was wrong. For a start we couldn't see anyone but that is probably normal for 10pm on a Saturday. But there was still something wrong. Worked out that there was no music playing. It was silent! Amazing.

So today. Not much has happened. I did some more Greek. I am now finished nouns. And somehow my brain can now remember the definitions for prepositions for all the different cases. Couldn't do that before. So I am pleased.

Text messaged a friend (who just arrived home from the Philippines yesterday) to ask for a lift to church. She said yes but that we also had to go and get thai because she'd been craving vegetables the whole time she was overseas (which was only two weeks but I won't quibble on minor details if there's pad thai involved). So we went to her favourite thai place. Realised that we didn't have much time before our prayer meeting (which we can't miss because there's usually just us and one other person) so got take away. The third person at the prayer meeting was pleasantly surprised.

THEN (oh what an eventful weekend) after church I was talking to someone and it looks like I may have found a compatible travelling buddy for next year! Hurrah!! If that happens, it looks like I will be based in London for a while... but yes, as this was only thought of about half an hour ago it's not particularly definite. But yes. I am pleased. Does anyone know anything about job prospects for unregistered pharmacists in the UK?
