This morning at 7:01 I was reading a few verses of Romans 8 (I don't have a very long attention span) and was greatly reassured that my current wanderings are no competition for God's grace.
Much hurrah followed.
Then I ate cake. Actually to celebrate a horse race. But cake nonetheless. And very good cake. And I didn't eat cake at 7:02 - it was actually around lunchtime. But "then" sort of implies that the following action occurred AFTER the bit that was talked about previously. And it did. Just not immediately afterwards!
